The secrets to passing CFA exams
To achieve success, one must take on the rough road and prepare for different challenges that come along with it. As what they always say, “There is no harm in trying” – though sometimes the odds to achieving a desired goal is bleak. But then again, this is such a lame excuse to give up. There are a lot of things that can be done to ease one’s way out of a very daunting task. Same is true in passing certification exams, just like the one for Chartered Financial Analyst or CFA.
To receive a CFA designation, a candidate must pass all three exam levels, each of which is designed to be completed in a span of six hours. To ensure one’s success in taking these exams, there is a need to get organized and start studying early.
Actually, there is no specific number of hours to be spent in studying. It depends on the candidate on how he or she will manage his or her time in getting the most out of the available resources to review about CFA topics that truly matter. A curriculum will be given to the candidate after registration for each exam level and taking advantage of the time in familiarizing oneself with the topics presented is a must.
Should there be topics that need clarification, it is but wise to enroll in a good review course and get one on one interaction with a CFA professional. This will not only make way for better understanding of critical CFA topics but also, the candidate can ask for some pointers on creating an effective study plan and have greater chances of receiving the much coveted CFA designation.
