Getting prepared with the CFA test
To become a Chartered Financial Analyst, you will need to hurdle a series of battery tests not only to examine your capacity and
skill to become a credible financial analyst but also to certify your skills for you to become more appealing to potential jobs.
The test towards achieving the pinnacle of being a certified CFA is generally anchored from the Institute of CFA produced material, the official bible that will lead you to the way towards becoming an effectively and efficient CFA.
To help you better prepare with the grueling test, the following subdivisions in the test are being advised as a guideline to follow:
• The first level of test shall constitute a total of 120 questions that may range from multiple-choice types of questions to identification. Wherein, 15% of the total question shall be anchored from Ethics and Standards in Profession. The other section will revolve around in the field of Economics, bearing 10% of the total 100%, discipline of Quantitative Analysis, bearing 12%, and lastly the Financial Analysis with focus on Financial Statements, bearing a bulky
۲۸%. Out of the 100%, 30% shall be coming from the Evaluation of Assets and the last 5% comes from the Portfolio Management.
• The second and third levels of the test shall constitute the same aspects of test but with a different bearing this time. What constitutes higher on the test dwells more on the Asset Evaluation and Portfolio Management.
It is to be understood that the CFA test varies from one level to the other. The level of difficulty, of course, depends on the level of examination being taken.
